Just restart your 3ds to get out of gateway menu, or go into System Settings and exit.

No matter what i do it says theres nothing inserted to the game slot. bu if i proceed to booting gateway mode it boots to gateway and finds the game on it.

Take out the cartridge, blow on it and in the cartridge slot and put it back in.

I'm honestly astonished that you came here and made a thread before even trying to remove the cartridge and put it back inside...

You would think that someone who has 5 years and 800 posts in this website would try that before making a thread asking for help
