Hacking SCDS Moonshell Question

Can anybody tell me what the current version of moonshell is on the SCDS when you order it?? I think its 1.41 but im not sure.

Also if its 1.41, Is it safe to upgrade it to 1.6?? Also How would i upgrade it??

You can get moonshell 1.5 there. According to the firmware description of supercard ds 1.4 is on there. You upgrade it by just clicking on the setup.exe file and setting the options that you want (screensaver etc.) and then it creates the /shell folder on the transflash card. 1.6 should be pretty stable also.

Now that i got the M3 Simply can anyone tell me how to and if its safe to upgrade the moonshell version on it??

I think i know how to upgrade it but tell me so i dont do anything stupid.

I'd like to know the same thing. The SC team said that the OS is a MODIFIED version of MoonShell & that is why I'm afraid to install the latest of MoonShell
