heres a very basic guide for getting moonshell 2 booting first on the supercard dsonei

files
YSMenu = http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds
TTmenu = http://gamewiki.jp/uploader/dsm/
MoonShell 2.0? = http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/moonlight/
DLDI = http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI
linoul's YSloader for MoonShell 2 = http://www.linoul.cn/moonshell/post/20090505274.html
MSFORSC.NDS from bliss = MSFORSC.NDS

1. make YSmenu (google how to do it)
2. copy moonshl2 folder & moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to root of card
3. copy nds.YSloaderForMS2.nds & config.ini to moonshl2\extlink
4. copy TTmenu folder to root of card
5. make a YSMENU folder on root of card & put in ttpatch.dat, ttdldi.dat, YSMenu.INI & YSmenu.nds
6. rename moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to TTMENU.DAT
7. DLDI patch TTMENU.DAT with the TTDS DLDI file
8. put MSFORSC.NDS on root of card

now it should look like this

now memory cards i have two both work 2GB none SDHC & 4GB SDHC

2GB none SDHC works with no special formating
4GB SDHC needs to be formated with FAT with 32kb clusters or you just get fat errors

i havent tryed any other cards sorry

EDIT
just tested a 8GB SDHC memory card formated to FAT32 with 32kb clusters & it works fine

hey houseonfire, is there anyway you can upload all of those files onto a website without any of the roms or things you might have on the SDHC card? I would really appreciate it if you could do that, since i've ordered my SC DSonei but it hasn't arrived here yet and i'd like to have this update installed once it arrives.

It's fairly easy to do as he had already posted the instruction, right now i just thinking how i can load the real time saving also some cheat arn't enabled

No RTS or RTG as YSmenu is actually loading the roms. What we need is a new
YSmenu loader for ms2, but written for scdsonei loader for ms2. Some how get
ms2 to load the roms back through the scdsonei. Then we would retain all of the
great benefits of the scdsonei.

Can someone release the finished files so you just have to copy it over on your SD card? I don't get htis "make YSMenu stuff".

Sorry they can't, well technically they can I guess but Yasu doesn't like his stuff downloaded unless its downloaded from his site. You can try my guide here as it tells you "how to make YSMenu" I hope

Keeleys guide works...Trust me...I "tested" it for quite a while lol >.< And ty JMR/helpme and mestapho for helping Keeley on that Awesome guide!!!!!!! \m/ (>.

I've only tried a few games yet and all worked but how is it about compatibility with YSMenu? Are there games not working with it?

I've never gotten this to work. Closest I got was Moonshell 2 spitting out some kind of filesystem related error. Moonshell 2 on it's own works fine but once I tried this whole thing (I followed the tutorial to the letter) it then it complains about file system type error. I forget what the error was....

Also Moonshell 2.05 does nothing but freeze half-way through the boot up animation. I have no clue why. I tested the 2.05 NDS with the Moonshell 2.04 directory and confirmed that it is something in the v2.05 Moonshell2 directory.

Since it doesn't show in the logs why it froze, I will just have to wait and see if v2.06 comes along and fixes it.

v2.05 with v2.04 directory works fine standalone though.

I have the DSi version of the Supecard with a 4GB SDHC MicroSD card by the way. But I'm using it on a DSLite currently. I don't yet own a DSi.

I bought the flashcard from the RHS website (with the memory card bundled with it) and it even came DSI and DS screen protectors with a complimentry cleaning cloth!
