Which one do I need? I JUST recently started using Homebrew and savegame manager freezes my Wii screen. Please help. What do I do?

hi, try the last revision (r055)
please, be sure to have the cIOS249rev9 or higher installed in your wii to use this app
place in sd:/apps/SaveGameManagerGX/
don't forget to rename the dol to boot.dol

Hi dj_skual,

here is italian translation for r55.

Just a note: I saw that there is no more the string "You need to have played the game one time to install a save" in the English language file.
I left it in my translation, but I'm asking: has it been replaced from another string? Also because I didn't see any other change ("Extract" string apart...)

Do I even need cIOS rev 249? I downloaded savegame manager and whenever I load it my screen freezes? Is there a one way solution to this or do I have to download all of this crap that will take forever? I only want to download a fe files at the MOST.

Automatically and legally download everything you need to mod ANY Wii, complete with a custom guide written just for you, using NUS Auto Downloader v4.0

Well, where's the difference?

Using cIOS Installer will install - as the name says - only the cIOS, that is the only thing he needs. Or, at least, the main thing he needs.

Note that one of the warnings of SaveGame Manager GX was "You need cIOS 249 rev 9 or higher to work" (or something similar).

if you know what you're doing, there is no difference

but my program will download the cios installer, as well as the base wads, and save them to the right place on the sd card to support offline installations. And it also spits out a custom guide explaining how to do all that... not to mention that smashdude is obviously a little confused, so he may be missing other things too...

for example, how much you wanna bet he doesn't have bootmii as boot2, and also doesn't have priiloader installed? Any takers? lol

I agree with you: under this aspect, your tool is fantastic. But he also said that he wants just the minimal.

I suggest to make him install cIOS 249 to begin, and, if the problem persists, he have to let your tool settle his Wii.

So do I download that thing and that is it? Should I delete everything on my SD card? What do I do besides download that link?

You don't have to delete anything.

As I said, my suggestion is to install only the cIOS as first thing.
If the problem persists, use XFlak's tools to download all the needing to softmod correctly your Wii.

Alright but do I need to create an apps folder to put all this in or is that all included with the download?

smashdude, think before you write: if you have SaveGame Manager running, it means that you already have an "apps" folder, right?

So download the cIOS Installer from Waninkoko's page (direct link here), create a folder called "cIOSX_rev19_Installer" (or whatever you like) under the "apps" folder, put into it cIOSX_rev19-Installer.dol, rename it into boot.dol (otherwise, it won't run) and run it from the HBC.
