Hacking Save state in SFC emulator?

I know in the GBA emulator, the X button takes you to the menu where you can save state, but it doesn't seem to work in the SFC emulator.


Anyone know the hotkey?

you can just delete a previous save state and than save
I know it's a pain, and I hope they fix some of these minor issues soon

I meant without deleting. Just the ability to write to the first save state over and over again would be win for me.

I tried it first, but I guess I wasn't touching hard enough with my fingernail to get through my screen protector
