StreetPass still works fine, and I lost my own data due to a faulty SD card.
I am actually part of a StreetPass group that meets practically every weekend.

It got rid of all my options, except ink colour…
But reloading my old (before switching yours in) save restored the three other options I had…
So I have no idea what kind of anti-save restore method it's using… any ideas?

The actual messages, and likely DLC, go to SD extdata; while unlocked stuff most likely goes to the main SD save...

I wonder if someone could find it?
Hm…

But the person above would have to have unlocked stationery to save the DLC stationery, and that means the unlocked more than I had.

Region mabe
With the exception of "Photos with Mario" USA and Canada are treated the same by Nintendo, as "North America". I don't know why Canada eShop lacks Photos with Mario (a free App in Jap and USA), but it does.

The eShop prices vary, and USD cards don't work if your NNID is Canadian, and visa versa, but save the apps and games are the same.

Canadian eShop, where everything is spelled in USArian.
Color instead of colour,
Humor instead of Humour,
Stationery instead of Stationary. (yes, we have different spelling for paper and stillness.)

You USArians and your silly superiority complex.
We canadians don't care enough to try and get every game in our native version of English spelling.

I remember swapnote. On the days I'd get 20 notes on startup, it would LITERALLY take 5 minutes to download them all. By far the slowest damn app I have ever come into contact with..

Oh wait. The music app was slower. And the Camera app. 7 minutes to load the camera was disgusting. It was the price I paid for having a ton of songs and pics lmao.
