Hacking save lost in mario 3d land?

Today I formatted my emunand. Saves of the most games are ok after the format (like Pokemon X), but i dont have the save of my super mario 3d land. i lost it? is there any way to recover it? why i lost the save of my mario 3d land and not of my pokemon x? please help!

pokemon and animal crossing save inside the rom(and a couple of the eshop VC games), all other games save to the SD card you formatted.....there is a warning built into gateway that tells you to back up your SD card before going ahead with the format,

all you can try is data recovery tool, you may get them back you may not, there is no guarantee when it comes to trying to recover data off a formatted SD card, but until you try to recover don't use the SD card or the saves will likely be over wrote
