Hacking Save Backups for 3DS

Which device would be better: NDS Adapter Plus or Dongle R4i

Can't say which one is exactly better since I only own the Dongle... However I've never had any problems with the backups while using it, I only have 10 games, but even so, every single one of them worked fine with removing, playing, removing again and then loading the older save file.

Im wondering if putting 3DS carts inside a DS cart enclosure and ripping it using homebrew is better than a dongle, seeing as the program to do it can be updated easily.

there is also the SMS4 from neoflash that not only can rip DS and 3DS saves, but can also dump DS ROMs

This isn't making it easy to decide!
But SMS4 seems the most pricey...
