Hi, are the battery saves (.sav) transferrable between games run with R4 (slot 1) and nds_bootstrap (slot 2)? On a related note, is there any save manager that works on Mac?

Thanks!

"R4" not further qualified is extremely generic (and the save format is ultimately given by the kernel, not the flashcard per se) but Wood, the original R4 kernel back from 2008, raw save backups from original games, and nds-bootstrap (if we're thinking of the same thing - "slot 2"??) do indeed use the same format

The main/only notable save converter is a webapp, Shunyweb

Yes, I apologize, it’s the shitty R4isdhc.com card.

And yeah, slot 2 is a SD card with nds-bootstrap. I just don’t like having to boot into original 3DS menu first, then run the boot „app“ to get into R4 menu and then launch a game. I’d like to play in TWLmenu as it can soft reboot from game back into itself. But it’s not super compatible with my ROMs.

Thanks!
