Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

When I save the game slows down a bit, but sometimes the sound messes up and loops the same sound over and over and I can't hear anything else after that, not even the voice acting or sound effects. I have to restart the DS.

Is this normal, I realise it's a huge game and takes a bit longer to boot up than other games.

R4 (original one I believe)

Using YSMenu with the Mario and Luigi RPG 3 fix.

Jup me, precisely the same!

i don't think is any cheat...

maybe try format your SD card?

Nah, It isn't a cheat, I hve that proble and have none enabled.
Maybe, but I formatted my SD a few monthsago, after that, I didn't play on my DS since SoD. But I guess it oculd be worth a try.

Tell me how it goes

And nah, I'm not using cheat code, don't even have cheats for SoD.

I don't think formatting your MicroSD card will work. It's just the Rom itself or something.

Also, I've just found a new problem, well not really, but it's the after-effects of the "Sound-Freeze." Here's the problem: When you get the Sound-Freeze and venture a bit into the game or after a few minutes of game play and get into a battle, there will be a TOTAL freeze - like, everything just freezes, but you can still hear the sound-freeze.

I am also using R4 with YSMenu and so far i haven't found any problems that you have. I am barely 2 hrs into the game though so i don't know. So far so good for me!

one thing i have noticed is that if you save in short intervals you tend to get the sound freeze, but if you save with a gap of around 10 to 15 mins interval there's lesser chance of getting the freeze..
