Gaming Samurai showdown update 2.0 nsp update won't install

I have the game installed and playable but when I install the 1.90 or 2.0 nsp update my switch creates a second game file for the game and when I select it the game says I don't have the game installed, just need the dlc characters installed but the same thing happens when I just install the dlc without the new update. I am on version 1.40. System version 10.0.4 AMS 0.12.0IS

the update is not for your version of the game, probably a different region

I have a game like that, poi, yet it says USA on it. it might be a rare bootleg of some sort. anyway, all content ids for titles ends in three 0s; all updates end in 800. match the ids up to the last three digits. I don't understand how dlc is named, but I do know updates and titles.
