Lali ho
I'm not happy. See, as you know I'm looking into getting a siberian husky puppy. Problem is that I require a loan of some kind in order to achieve this. I've looked into my various options and this is what I've come up with....
- I can't take a loan out with my bank as the minimum loan ammount is a grand, I only need about £350. For that they suggest a credit card, which is pointless as your annual income has to be over 10 grand, mine is not because my job sucks cheesy goat balls. Ergo I'd never get one and thus they're not an option.
- Most loans elsewhere require photo ID, which I do not have, nor can I acquire without the loan. Kind of a catch 22 there. I don't have the money to replace my passport, but I can't GET the money without a passport. No wonder this country has an illegal immigrant problem.
- I COULD get a loan from Provident Personal Credit, but the APR is about 270%. I borrow £350, I owe them £550, and that's if I pay it off quickly. They're a god-damn bunch of rip-off merchants. Absolute back burner option. Paying off the loan over a longer time isn't so tough on my balance but it drags out the whole process and every minute I delay I'm incurring more costs. IE: if I pay back the £350 over a year, I only pay about a tenner a week but I end up paying about £600 back. Hardly seems worth it. It is a viable option that would see the dog here, but it would leave my financially crippled for several months more than I would like. Remember I need to feed it and attend to its other needs, as well as the same for myself.
- I can ask the old man to put it on his credit card and simply pay him back out of my pay every month, which is fine in principal and wouldn't be so crippling on our finances but I doubt he'd be able to do it, his bank balance looks almost as sad as mine right now. That and he's never been all that interested in my happiness, only his own. The fact that he abandoned me on my mother's porch and left me to die speaks to that.
- I could sell a LOT of stuff, but in order to raise anywhere near that much we're talking every games console I own, every single one plus every single game, plus probably my TV as well. Not really much of an option in the grand scheme of things.
- I could rob a bank. Which now that I think on it is probably the most logical option. Be right back
- I could simply go over there and take the dog by force.
- I could give up on the whole idea, which wouldn't be my first choice as I REALLY want that dog. But if needs must, if nothing else presents itself, if I have literally no other option, then I'll have to. Then sit and sulk for a year or two and spend all my money on 3DS games in the hope of filling the gaping void in my existance where there should be a companion and a half decent social life, lying to myself daily that it will get better one day when I know it never will, before finally going insane and killing myself and others in what papers will refer to in years to come as 'the little apocalypse'.
- I could repeatedly punch my boss in the face until he opens the safe and I make a run with the cash. Fuck 'em, it's me that helps put it all in there, why don't I get a cut? And don't say my wages, they don't pay me anywhere near enough to justify the work I put in.
Suggestions are welcome at this point. Here's the numbers for some help.
- I earn on average about £350-£450 a month, with about £400 being the usual, depend on what hours I have and how bad management tries to dick us over. Piss poor, I know. But better than the dole. Only marginally, but still. That's minimum wage for you. Looking in to other options though.
- £200 goes straight out to my dad for rent.
- £55ish goes out for my broadband and phone bills.
- £13 a month goes out to pay for my Advantage Gold bank account setup, which covers my phone insurance and hopefully pet insurance, if it doesn't I'll probably cancel it, insuring the phone elsewhere would be cheaper, if I even bother.
- If the acquisition of this dog is successful I have to pay for his food and upkeep, about £30-£40 a month.
Anything else is fair game, technically. Although my usual expenditures are food, going out every now and then (hoping to increase the frequency and number of ladies involved) and a game or two every month. Never much. I tend to waste money which I'm putting a stop to by having responsibilities and something pushing me to go get a better job so I can afford to waste money again
I do have to get myself a little something every now and then though to help stave off the madenning realisation that this is all futile and no ammount of hard work will ever get me anywhere in life because I was born with the wrong name. I'd like to keep some money aside for other projects as well, such as saving for my passport and getting myself the occasional game for my 3DS.
Help please. I really want this dog, it's perfect. But things are looking bleak because once again no matter how hard I work I'm stiffed because I don't pay the government money they don't deserve for a bit of paper we shouldn't really need. You don't own the world, who are you to tell me I need your permission to leave the country? Why should I have to prove myself to these people? I didn't elect them. In fact, fuck modern society as a whole. Fuck it right up the arse. That's it. This fiasco is what it took to break my faith in mankind. Well done.
/rant.
A once again severely fucked off and unhappy Blaze.
What? A humourous quote to round things off? That what you want? Go jump into lava, I can't be arsed.
