Hacking Safe to upgrade?

Im currently on n3ds 11.2.35. a9lh+luma

I tried to create a NNID however it stated i needed the newest patch 11.3.
I know its an anti piracy patch and its locked down.

Is it safe to update though system update, create the NNID. Then after restore my 11.2 backup without any risk?
Im asking since Im not sure what 11.3 does to its full extent.

On A9LH, it's safe to update and the games still work. Just not HBL which is irrel nowadays.

the HBL has been fixed for 11.3 and so is NTR?

NTR is still working on 11.3.

I haven't updated to 11.3 yet. I'm a Luma3DS user without A9LH. It is safe to update without A9LH, right? I may install A9LH at a later date but I can't be bothered at the moment. >3>

That particular is my main concerrn. I dont want to render it unusable. Hence im wondering if I can just use decryppt9 and go back to 11.2 and use hbl and everything else like normal? =)

HBL works now that the 11.3 payload is out.

In short, you can safely upgrade to 11.3 with A9LH + Luma without losing anything. You can always restore a 11.2 Nand backup if you are paranoid though.

This was basicly the answer I needed, thank you!
Im not really paranoid but certainly like patches like this id like to be cautious and let time tell when we know more.
And I cant really see any reason to update from 11.2 to 11.3 since it doesnt add any useful or is demanded, atleast for now.
