Hacking Safe to update my emuNAND?

How do I go about updating my emuNAND? I'm on 9.2 sysNAND and emuNAND and I want to update to 10.7 but in the past when I've used System Settings, I've bricked my emuNAND. Help?

Make sure you have the latest of whatever CFW you are using. They were all updated for 10.x emuNAND in around January-February. Go to System Settings, Other Settings, System Update.

I'm using rxTools 3.0 beta 2, any recommended files I should have on the root of my SD?

I just updated 2 3dses to 10.7 and its fine. But I use Cakes, can't say for sure if rxtools will be fine.

I'm doubting that an emuNAND update will work and it will blackscreen my emuNAND again.

Why wouldn't it? Nothing has changed hax wise.

But if it failed 3 times already, it must be something I'm doing wrong. Maybe a file I'm missing on the root.

I don't use TubeHax. I'm using rxTools and Menuhax.

If your files are from before February they'll be outdated. Switch to cakes or look up how to update rxTools.
