Hacking Safe to update botw?

There's a new update for breath of the wild , is it safe to update it without the system update sneaking in there ?


So turns out you can update the game without the system update sneaking in there just to be safe reboot the system before updating the game

yeah Im curious as well, seems like a pretty good zelda update but I really don't want to lose any potential system exploits

You can selectively download Game Updates independently of System Updates. Just Press -/+ with the game's tile selected on the home screen to get to game options, then choose the “Via the Internet” button under the “Software Update” tab.

I was able to launch the game without updating the system, version on the title screen says Ver. 1.1.1.

Okay just wasn't sure if the switch would sneak in the system update

Okay I tried updating botw and it worked without updating the system

On my device (v 1.0) it ask for a system update to be able to install it :x
