I'm cautiously curious to know if it's safe to enable DNS after modding Wii U. I'm using CBHC and after I got modding to work, I noticed how there's a system update that isn't working in Download Management because of DNS disabled. I wanted to access the eShop, but that means I have to enable DNS in order to do so. However, I'm not sure if by enabling DNS it'll also proceed with the system update. I'm not too knowledgeable on modding, but I know for sure that updating the console will ruin the modding process.
