Hi I was wondering if using street pass is safe?
And if using miiiverse and mii plaza is safe to use?

Also looking a good way to block updates? Is there any good DNS?

Streetpass is OFFLINE, so it doesn't matter, it's safe and always will be. Spotpass (online) is perfectly safe too and miiverse has been shut down since long ago so it's unusable. As for Mii Plaza, it's offline and uses the data from Spotpass/Streetpass, so yes, it's safe as well.

And why block updates? It's 100% safe to update your 3DS as long as you have the latest Luma version installed. It's simply advised that when a new update is out, you wait a bit for 2-3 days in case it breaks compatibility with some homebrew/exploits. Currently, the latest version is verified to be perfectly good and doesn't break anything, so just update Luma then system update normally.

PS: Next time, either do some research before asking as this has been asked MANY times before or at least post in the "noob paradise" thread... Let's try to keep the forums clean of duplicate threads!

Is getting ppl miis in my console safe I though they came from ppl I played online?

Yeah I understand Luma will patch things a few days later. I just looking a way to stop the kids be able to update easily?

Wat happens if u did update before it was patched? Would it break things u have to redo everything again? or just wouldn’t work till luma updated ?

There ARE ways to block updates, but it's too much trouble. Letting kids update it will AT MOST make the console unusable for just one day until Luma updates, big whoop:P As soon as a new Luma is out, replace old with new on the SD card and that's it, problem solved!

Streepass/Spotpass data is store on your system, so the Miis you see in Mii Plaza are any locally-stored ones, not online.

Streetpass is local offline, so it always is no matter what, but Spotpass is perfectly safe as well. What those two do is just sharing some info about your characters in a specific game with other users, it doesn't change what Nintendo sees, same for the settings on friend list to hide what you are playing, it's only about other people getting data of what you are doing/playing, not Nintendo.

Ok if ur sure streetpass is safe.
I think that spotpass can send info about ur console to N.
Is it safe to add friends on ur 3ds or not?

Streepass is OFFLINE, the 3DS can't even use Streetpass if online. As for sending info to Nintendo, that's not what Spotpass does, Nintendo gets the exact same information regardless of what "settings" you have. What DOES change is the sharing of information with other players on the 3DS and only that, so things like sharing in-game cards in some games, doing that daily visit thing on Pokemon Rumble World where other people can come once a day, getting people's secret bases in Pokemon ORAS, etc. are the ones that are affected by Spotpass, not Nintendo. You really thought Nintendo would let you choose an option to hide what you are doing on your system however against the EULA it may be?:P And adding friends is perfectly safe, so don't worry.

Haven't touched MK7 in YEARS, so can't really help you, but if you can tell me what error exactly you are getting, I can try and help. If it's a 006 error, it's just your internet.
