Hacking rxtool boots, but emunand shutdown

N3DS you need to keep the 0004013820000002.bin and I think the 0004013820000002_cetk.bin in the firm folder inside the rxtools folder, but i assure you the latest works stable as well.

_cetk ? i thought it was _orig bin ? or is that _ctek file now created in my msd i think it could be cause i didnt check in the data folder yet,

Edit: i just downloaded the latest nightly and i went on ahead to the Tools folder and double clicked the cdn file and it downloaded a firm folder with 3 bin files

one named "0004013800000002" and the other 2 "0004013800000102" lastly "0004013800000202"

would i need these files in the RxTools folder ? and they need to be in the firm folder ? or just need the current bin and origbin that i already have?

for me for n3ds it has to be in the data folder not firm so hmmm ><" confused abit, but i will get the hang of it once i update it will do it tomorrow .

Nothing goes in the data folder anymore, just the firm folder copied to the rxtools folder with the 0004013820000002.bin inside. The new guide I linked is spot on though bro.

Here is how I fresh install...

1. Delete everything in my rxtools folder except themes and firm folders.
2. Copy rxtools folder from release, and place themes and firm folder into new rxtools folder have the slot keys file on root of SD
3. Run installation suite and done.

are you sure i can delete the data folder :/ !? i thought that is what is needed for n3ds consoles cause i read it from here v

Just use the new folders in the release file, and remove all of your files except the firm and theme folders. And your good.

Almost like your deleting rxtools completely from your sd card, except keeping your theme and firm folder.

okay that means the data folder as well, hmm so RxTools isnt needing the Rei firmware bin file anymore? needed it only once or something ? @__@ im confused abit

Ok pal, I have mentioned that you need to keep your firm folder with the files you already have several times already. You still need the N3DS files you got and renamed in the firm folder and the java script in the tools folder is for old 3DS only.

and it doesnt have instructions on how to update Rx in case there is a new nightly..
im only used to update on my og3ds as that one is way simpler!

you mentioned the way to update the n3ds for me so i will keep that in mind now and try it out later or so thank you man!

Edit: i am now looking into the link you sent sorry man ! i am reading the guide , it has n3ds info in it , sorry for the inconvenience.
