How are you configuring the controls or is it supposed to be super responsive?

My deadzone is tuned to 99% no joke and my steer distance is like 5%, even then the controls are still kind of sensible, I think it's just the way the game is

Yeah, it does make you want to look at it beyond a cursory spin (pun intended) if thats how it was actually designed and not just borked. Its like that other top down racer port of dRally:

I tried it and the controls were atrocious with lots of lag that made it unplayable and the port itself was very unstable. Hopefully that gets smoothed out. Anyone tried it?
