So i used Retrogamefan's 6.53 upgrade on my r4i clone. (Thanks so much Retro!) The r4i clone i have is R4i-SDHC (r4i-sdhc.com). The pokemon rom works great on it, its just that it has frequent slowdowns throughout my gameplay. For example when i run past NPCs in big towns. Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks.

Darn, i reformatted using the panasonic program. I'll just have to wait for the new R4i-sdhc kernel to come i guess.

Why won't you just install Retro's firmware? And the new R4i-sdhc kernel will come out in 3001 so don't wait for it...

Yeah you're right. Those things take forever i guess . By Retro's firmware, you do mean the
"RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update 6.53" right? the one with TTmenu and TTMENU.NDS or w/e?

Sorry i'm being a pain in the arse.
