is there a way to play ds games online using wiimmfi without having to set my wifi to wep?? every device in the house use wpa2 and if I change my wifi to wep, the wifi goes kaput on all devices besides my 3ds... is there a way to use ds wifi without sacrificing the usage for the other devices in the household??

*please move thread somewhere else if it fits into another fourm*

It's theoretically possible with patched roms (to access the new hardware), a custom TWL_FIRM (to prevent the Wi-Fi chip from turning off), and SigHax+ custom FIRM (3DS reboots when loading NDS cartridges, not actually sure this is needed).

Not even slightly easy though.

The best solution is to buy a cheap wifi access point (like a router but without the routing functionality) and hook it up to your router. Or if you have an old router that is dd-wrt compatible install dd-wrt on that and set it to AP mode only (routing disabled).
