Apparently, Mighty No. 9 on the Wii U is having a lot of problems, with at least one person tweeting they got a hard brick [update: no hardbrick, a reset and everything was okay].

More have reported glitches and the like. There are also reported problems with PSN codes and DLC codes messing up the game. The game was released today, June 21st, on the Wii U and other platforms.

Inti Creates is trying to get an update out soon to fix the problem(s), today hopefully. I'll be waiting to play it, myself, until it's verified as false or fixed.

"A very early report from GoNintendo stated that the loading times reached up to 45 seconds long, with users experiencing input lag and framerate issues. Other people are reporting crashes from numerous gameplay elements, such as whenever theprotagonist shoots his weapon, or when one is trying to return to the title screen. But according to SeanHicksART, his friend’s Wii U was fully bricked after playing the Mighty No. 9 Wii U Digital version.

Mighty No. 9 will either soft freeze or brick Wii Us. For my friend's case her Wii U is bricked. Not too keen about having to be careful =/

What? That's pretty crazy. I can see it slowing down or whatever (Is it still in beta or test build?) but not fully bricking a console. Especially if it is bought from the eshop.

I think this has already been proven false by NWPlay123. It just freezes the console. not bricks it.
I could only find one person who said it bricked, and I was guessing they probably just freaked out. But hey, I'd rather wait a day for the dust to settle than risk my system.

Mighty no.9
When the game bricks your console, your going to be crying like.... an anime fan crying on prom night

Why did they release this game like this? Where it freezes somebody's console? That's really stupid. But the whole way this game has been going is stupid.

Although less advertised (more like not at all), Grinsia (a 3DS eShop game, $10 turn based RPG) was released with major glitches; often leading to system reboots/crashes.
Most of said glitches could be avoided, but there was one unavoidable glitch... I just find it funny that this game (MN9) was advertised so much

For the record, there been other games on wii u that causes freezes, Pier solar and the great arcitects Has been known to freeze on me when using the HD+ graphics Setting, why does the option exist i dunno, but there hasn't been any issues addressing it yet, I have yet to ask anyone else to confirm on the matter also ask if anyone else with other systesm to test for me. Why do developers keep making over powered games for wii u if it clearly wasn' gonna support it with any fixes for the updates?

From the PS4 version after applying DLC. This game is clearly not finished.

I'm not bothered by other people's scores, i bought metroid other M for $7.50 and proud of it.:P
But it starting to feel like street fighter 5, only difference, is the price for the game is not full price at $60 but at $20, if it was over $30, i would have skipped or waited for a sale.
