Just to reiterate...

I am using an original R4 with the latest YSMenu firmware, and since I played from badges 3 to 16 using Rykin's translation of the JPN rom, I just used that .sav file and renamed it. I caught all three legendary birds, all three legendary beasts, and lugia in HG, without a single freeze, so this definitely works.

You can use NDS Backup Tool or SMS2 for dumping ROM data from your NDS game cartridge.

Sounds more like an ethical "do not pirate games, use your own backups" thing written in a simple manner because he's not good with english.

No it wasn't. You got random in-game freezes, trainer loops ... Only the black screen was fixed. And you can have a quite good zoom with no$zoomer
