Rooting a Galaxy J7 (SM-J700P)?

I've tried Kingoroot and using Odin to flash TWRP. Nothing is working. Kingoroot and Odin always fail. I tried TWRP 2.8.7.0 and 3.0.2.0. Please help!

Weird, are you on the latest version?
If so, try going so sammobile to download the latest firmware for your model and flash with Odin.
If after that it won't work, do a factory reset and try again
