I'm gonna have to start encoding my URL's

I'll be including the changelog in the documentation soon to be released.

I wouldn't have found that change log URL if you hadn't said there was an easter egg to be found.

I got the same errors on Ubuntu 7.10 using Rominator v5.1.

Believe me, do you think I would have made the easter egg THAT easy?

I knew someone would try and hex it, so I encrypted the egg

For you Linux guys: I'm gonna contact the developer of my IDE with these errors, it looks like there may be an issue with the latest compiler. I'll keep you all posted.

A big thanks to Hank Chill for this awesome program! Tried it out for the first time last night to sort out all my rom names and it works very well except for one hiccup with duplicate games (thanks HC for clearing that up for me). Now that my file names are all sorted out I can use the No-Intro batch file to 7zip all my roms according to their parent-child relationship - this will save a ton of space over icky zip compression

What do you mean by 'easter egg'?

An "easter egg" is another term for a hidden goodie somewhere. You know, how easter eggs are hidden and you find them and that's fun

Well, basically I hid something in one of the features of Rominator... You gotta find it!

Ok, thanks for showing me this thread. I have another question now. I downloaded all of the box arts but whenever I click on the game it tells me "box art unavailable"

How do I make it so the game is linked to the box art? thanks ^^;

Ever since I updated to the current build, I've been getting in an error with Napoleon Dynamite and Ultimate Mortal Kombat.

Everytime I try to get a box art for it, it'd crash.

=*(

Pic VERY Related.

yeah, I think I messed up somewhere. I found out that it thinks that I have 0 roms, when I have alot. is there some kinda instructions for this? the help thing looked like some pages were missing

@Osaka: It doesn't think you have 0 roms -- It thinks you have 0 roms in the DS Database, which means you never downloaded it

Go into File -> Check for Updates. After it's downloaded, if you already have games in your library, press the Refresh button underneath the game lists.

Regarding the bad box arts, what I'll need you guys to do is manually go into the Rominator Data folder, and into the Box Art folder, and delete any box arts from 1638 to 1660. I forgot to upload them so Rominator downloads an error page which can't be displayed as a picture.

@juggernaut: OMG LoLZ!! U GOT IT!! kidding

I wonder how long it'll be until someone actually finds it...

Hey hank, just want to let you know I love your program and appreciate the work you put into it. Keep up the great work.

ok, got that working ^^; my final question is... how do I get the games icon to appear? is there anything else that i might be missing?

In the options, there is a setting for Showing Game Icons. Look for it somewhere in there.

That's right, if you press Ctrl+O (or on a Mac, Command+O), or go to Tools -> Settings, navigate to the Display settings and check off 'Show Game Icons'
