Homebrew Romhack list for *hax 2.5+

I cannot for the life of me even get a HANS setup going. x_x

I have 10.2 on Emunand and 7.2 on Sysnand, and I'm wanting to run Omega Ruby through HANS. Running Ninjhax on Emunand results in a freeze any time I try to launch homebrew, and I haven't been able to get oothax to install with a 10.2 payload.

There is a rom hack of Animal Crossing : New Leaf planed called Animal Crossing New Leaf: Population Growing. It aims to add the original gamecube music and make towns generate more like the gamecube version

FYI for everyone, you no longer need to strip the bytes. Smea said so on release of new-HANS.

But would it be possible to "add" the update data using the rom hack feature? I would enjoy to get the Pokemon foreign events on my 9.9 n3DS.
Would it be possible to merge romhack data and official update data? I think it would be nice to have Pokemon Rutile Ruby with the 1.4 update to play online...

Requires arm9 access to decrypt update\dlc data and manually put it into romfs. According to gudenaurock, possible.

Just a heads-up to whoever wants to take the thread, you don't need to include Translation Patches.
All they are, are Translations of games from a Different Region anyway.
I didn't want to include them as they don't change any of the Gameplay, they just allow us English-folk to understand unreleased gamss.

Also single things like the Bust May Mod (Still a good model hack though!) isn't part of a whole ROMhack so it doesn't need to be included either.

That's a very downer attitude you've got there. Gotta give you an A+ for somehow becoming cynical in the amount of time it's taken me to get adjusted to the friendlier side of the site.

Shit aside, even though it may not end up completed by that guy - and even then, it's highly unlikely anyone could truly 'finish it', given the existence of the Double Cherry and the particularly zany boss battles including the end one - someone will try to pick it up eventually.

Yeah...I wouldn't say it's fake...just that it's probable that the guy doesn't have the technical knowledge/means to realize it by himself...I'm pretty sure he genuinely wants to make that hack to get the members' approval...and that he is really working on it...
