ROM Hack Rip sprites?

Can I rip sprites from DS games? I've looking but I can't find anything. I want the files in a .png or something.

I think you might be able to unpack the DS file with something like DSlazy and can maybe get a sprite from there, but I haven't used it or anything, so maybe if someone else could also post and maybe elaborate on what I said, or maybe help Playallday with more information or something or other?

Yes, you can debug it.
No$GBA has a debugger, but only in the pay version.
I thought that Ideas has a debugger that was OK too. (free)

ds lazy cant do it very well.... when I use it i get the code, but cant separate images from it. If you want pokemon sprites, you can get an ace pack of pokemon editing tools here, but check romhacking.net if you want a specific game. no tool can work for all games when you are getting images....
