Can people stop telling people to try a different video mode as this can cause big issues if their tv does not support that mode and they can get stuck without being able to change back without finding another tv.

If they don't know what it can handle or what to change to then tuff shit they will have to use a loader for their own safety

[ ] You did understand IOS Version patching and why it was/is done.

PS: I guess the answer is no, so: A game would require IOS249 if was (a) one of the IOS Version patching games AND (b) was patched to IOS249.

Ummm... I think Arm The Homeless was being sarcastic mate.

The full quote:

Do it.

No. Of course you overwrite them. Uninstalling them would be stupid.

I think you might be in a pickle.

Arm.... come on man.... that is a really bad post to put in a thread like this. You know how these people don't bother actually reading half of what they see.

I understand you're being sarcastic but the content of the sarcasm is very detrimental to this thread. Now the previous post to mine might not be real but when I first read your message I immediately thought, "Damn that's an Irresponsible post, somebody is not going to understand the sarcasm or read the whole thing and actually do it. I guess we'll find out.

Moderator please delete the posts containing this quote for the safety of noobs Wiis.

EDIT: Haha, everybody who read that post knew it was a terrible post and somebody would fuck up, thought we don't know this as fact yet.
EDIT2: Like I said... we did not know the brick to be fact. Still a poor post.

Ok, I don't know what's going on here. I think when I installed all this (which is freakin' sweet) it was RiiskiMod 1.0. Now it's 2.0?

Several questions now come up

1. Do I need to upgrade?
2. What do I get extra with said upgrade?
3. How do I do said upgrade?

I currently have 3.2U system menu, ciosCORP that I got with the package, preloader 0.25, and the disc dumper.
Everything was installed as the previous tutorial, and is working with everything I throw at it so far.

Thanks for the help.

I think this forum really really needs a "search this thread" function. Or at least, search only a certain section Wii-hacking.

Take a look at the lower right:

THANKS! Yeah, Jizmo sent me a PM about it a little bit ago! I didn't even think to look there.

New name idea:

PrudentWii

It sounds like prudently, which is sort of the opposite of riskily. And since the mod is no longer risky, I think it fits!

When using preloader .25, I see

Replace healthwaring with backmenu
Skip disc update
Skip disc update
No menu BGM
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection
Remove NoCopy protection

... Is that supposed to be right or did something go wrong?
