Ok i'm about to install .I understand that to uninstall other hacks like the preloader or starfall hacks I'll need to downgrade which will also eliminate the custom cios I have right now but I'm on 3.2U right now so if I downgrade to 3.2U (if it's even possible)will it delete my cios's or not and will it delete the Wiiware Games that i have on it?

Ya I have the old cios like waninkoko's and the ios249 that let you use the backup loaders.

dark. just run the preloader hack remover. run the anyregion changer from the pack to install system menu for your region, tell it no to korean, yes to the hacks, install preloader, re-install cioscorp and your good to go

My Wii is NTSC and i notice that the hacks.ini have patches for both 289(mine) and 290(PAL) should i delete the 290's patches?

One last question:

It says to "enable all same name hacks"... does that mean that when I boot preloader that there will be more than one hack with the same name and I should enable all hacks with that name?
Or am I digging into it too much?

all channels remain intact, i reinstalled all of my cios after doing the anyregion changer system menu hacks and preloader. everything works great. and all my pal games are in beautiful color.
about the hacks. you'll see a nice simple text menu in preloader, goto settings and enable the hacks you want. there are like 7 for nocopy, needs them because seven different memory changes are needed and preloader only handles single changes per option and there can be more multiple ones in the future

Alright but I am currently on 3.2u could I use IOS Downgrader and select 3.2U is that possible will that work to delete all my cios,preloader,etc.?

to be honest this guide could really be shrunk for anyone who has installed cios7 to
use anyregion changer
install preloader
install cioscorp pack
done
its just longer because he wanted to try and cover all bases in one go.

awesome! got bgm back! but i have another small issue. when putting in some discs while on disc channel, it spins for a long time, then eventually spits out error disc cannot be read. when i pull out to system menu, it spins then loads title. is this normal? this happens on boom blox and animal crossing city folk

i wonder if you need the cios 38 to read AC:CF? or was it 36...

i have a game or two that does this. one is scratched to hell the other has a quality of 68% and gave me some small probs in gamma. the system menu is pickier than gamma, probably some small code to correct for errors on the title reads, i don't really know why, but once the game is loaded it seems to run better than under gamma as far as errors go

just go back thru preloader and under system menu hacks, keep no bgm disabled. i asked the same thing earlier

yes in preloader dont enable "NO BGM" and the music will remain

clarky tried all my pal games 6 for shure they work

as far as patched games from wanns loader some are no go but load in gamma,
my patched house of dead is loading from the disc channle thought but still only 3 (burn issue)

patched games work, its decrypted games that dont. its easy to get it confuse though, i think i got the two mixed up and had to edit my posts about 5 times in the last 3 days

yet another quick question. Does this loader work with dvd-rw? I'm out of dvd-r, so the closest thing i have is dvd-rw, which i burn on my laptop. will it still work in the wii with this hack?
