RiiConnect24 isn't fully working on the Wii U yet, so you'll have to wait anyway.

In order to contibute to this project, what is exacly the "dump" which is needed?. I have a NAND Dump of my Wii which had channels like Nintendo Channel, Check Mii Out channel, Everybody Votes channel, etc. and I used it frequently.

Yup. A Wii NAND dump should be 512MB. The 540,673 byte ones are problably Wii.

Yes. That would be the English Nintendo Channel.

You can use http://www.asciitohex.com/ to convert the hex folder names to the ASCII title ID if you don't want to mess with looking up the IDs. IOSes use the IOS number padded with zeros. e.g.: IOS58 would be 0000003a.
