Gaming right procedure to burn ssbb dvd9 only ?

After burning two coasters (#1 using brickblocker, not using layer break, #2 not using layer break, not using brickblocker.) I finally got it working. Here are my details:

Infectus 2 - Wiiktus 1.8
NTSC Wii 3.2U
Burned on Verbatim (Disc ID-MKM-003-00) @ 4x using ImgBurn on NEC-5300AD drive (2.1B fw)

Important Details...

I did NOT use wiibrickblocker (accepted the update)
I used the layer break at 2084960

Hope this helps...I know I was frustrated...now time to play my SSBB backup!

Finally got it working perfect on a Pal machine wiikey latest fw:
Burned this dump untouched to a verbatim 8x dl disc at 6x speed with imgburn, no layerbreak. Popped in freeloader, removed freeloader, popped in SSBB disc and it worked, right from the beginning with the warning message, then the intro movie played perfect, online works, classic games work, movies in data work. Settings: already did the update from a previous burn with a changed .inf file (trucha), in Wii screen 60 hz, in game deflicker off.
