Last edited by Argo,
I was exposed to DDR (or Dancing Stage here in the UK) thanks to my now thankfully ex girlfriend. She got DDR Fusion for PS2 but got stuck on mission mode trying to unlock Candy Star, so I had to do it for her.

As for games I actually enjoy, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call on 3DS killed far more time than I'm comfortable admitting, Elite Beat Agents is a quality game that urgently needs a 3DS/WiiU revival, I played a lot of Guitar Hero back in the day. But my killer app has got to be Rocksmith 2014. Plays the same as Guitar Hero, only with a real guitar (purple burst PRS in my case) and teaches me how to play for real. I've spent more on DLC for that one game than I've spent on the entirity of my PS3's disc library. Not even kidding. I've dropped hundreds on that game and I'm getting pretty damn good.

Your IAP statement reminds me of how much money I spent on a free mobile Rythm game called Groove 2. I spent at least 90+ dollars in that game for songs in a completely different language lmao.

To be fair I can't question Rocksmith for the quality of the DLC. £2.49 teaches me an entire song, fron single notes to chords to playing completely pro from memory. Hiring a guitar teacher to get the same effect would cost a fortune. It's more a problem with my self control since all those £2.49's add up pretty damn quick.

Lunatic Rave 2. Takes a bit of effort to set up and takes a fair amount of effort to get decent at, but it's so rewarding once you do. A truckload of original music too.
(note: while that guy uses a controller, the game is perfectly playable on a keyboard)
