I've been doing this video game reviewing gig for almost 2 years now for websites and I'm looking for a way to apply for actual review copies of games.

Does anyone know where I can find the contact information for Game Publishing PR departments here in Australia?

Generally copies aren't sent to individuals directly, but to organizations (magazines, sites) who then internally select somebody to do it.

similar is not the same as.

Your site would need a good amount of clout (not Klout) up there with the likes of Kotaku, Joystiq, Rock Paper Shotgun, etc... to get review copies. Basically they send the copies to sites that if their copy ever got out, they would have a hell of a lot to lose.

Did we have a similar thing going to happen? I remember reading about getting review copies of games, or something in the Staff forums. Did we ever hold up on that? Just curious, and this thread reminded me about it so I decided to ask.
