IF that playlist buddy change ploggy said doesn't work do me a favor and try this

first backup the lpl in case u added a ton of games.
2nd. open the super Nintendo lpl and edit it to just be this

sd:/retroarch/downloads/Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System/ActRaiser (USA).sfc
ActRaiser (USA)
sd:/retroarch/cores/snes9x_libretro.rpx
SNES9X

Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System.lpl

And see if it loads.

@ploggy did you manage to get Wolfenstein to move the character in Dosbox? I can only turn the view and shoot, but not move
Also, for some reason shots and screams/shouts from the Nazis are silent too.

Still freezes even with thumbnails unchecked, I get the dsi error. Im using the latest stable of retroarch, and I'm using the cfw built into haxchi.
Delet your cfg, rename a core as retroarch.rpx copy/paste into sd:/wiiu/apps/retroarch

You have to map the controls on the wiiu pad and to get sound effects to work you have to go into the sound options from the main menu.

When I have it filled out like this it doesn't freeze, but no playlist shows up. So I found out what causes the dsi error problem, which is by filling out the playlist path to retroarch core section. But without filling it out nothin shows up.

I already have the retroarch rpx file in that folder, I also delete the cfg files and I still get the dsi error.

Those paths are only good for kevinbrew, your paths are probably completely different.

The packed retroarch.rpx cause issues sometimes, replace it for whatever core mgba for example and rename it. Also in what core are you getting dsi? Depending on the core the causes are multiple.

I'm almost sure that the problem is in your playlist, the game must be pointing to a incorrect core path, therefore the dsi.

I have my roms files in the same folder like kevinbrew, so the path is correct.

Ok I'll try this out. I'm getting the dsi error with the packed in retroarch core. Will renaming nestopia core work too?
