I have my roms files in the same folder like kevinbrew, so the path is correct.

Ok I'll try this out. I'm getting the dsi error with the packed in retroarch core. Will renaming nestopia core work too?
so when your sd card is in your pc the drive letter is H: too?

No I have it set to drive F which is where my sd card is at. I know its set correctly because a playlist is created on my sd card, if it wasn't then no playlist will be created on there.

I tried what @cucholix said by renaming the rpx file and I still get the dsi error. I even double checked to make sure the paths are typed correctly but nothing.

ok, have you tried opening the lpl file to see if the list has correctly generated? also can you post a snippet of the lpl contents?

hi ploggy me again. one question for you, how do i make seperate playlist categories WITH ICONS. i want one row of playlists for cps roms, one row of playlists for neo geo, one row for mame. i know that what the playlist is called will effect weather the the icons show or not. but dont know what lpl names shud be
Example "NEC - PC Engine - TurboGrafx 16.lpl" will show the turbografx icon

yes the lpl file HAS to be named correctly fro the icons to show.

Edit just re-read your post. I dont know if it's possible to have Neo-Geo and CPS separate..

I think they're all lumped in with either mame or fba

@ploggy is that picture enough? can you identify the problem?
It looks ok to me? although you don't have to have the path to core set and if you want the icons to show up you'll have to rename the "nes.lpl" to "Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System.lpl"

Just to compare this is a snippet of my nes lpl file

No probs :)
Geez, trying to setup the controls for DosBox is a pain in the ass.
I change keys for each button in Options and so on, but for some annoying reason Wolfenstein boots directly into mouse mode, completely changing everything from the usual keyboard only style.

I'll screw around with it some more.
And the Sound did work after enabing it as you said, only thing is that I need to enable it on each boot it seems.
