Believe me, I tried to inquire about that out on GitHub, about relocating the bounty to the the proper page, but it hasn't happened.

https://www.bountysource.com/issues...ec-core-for-wii-u-port-of-beetle-mednafen-psx

Should be in the list here:

https://www.bountysource.com/teams/libretro/bounties

But for one reason or another, hasn't been yet.

Edit: Added bounty URL to sig :P
Bounty for getting *PPC* dynarec *for Beetle Mednafen PSX* in Wii U RetroArch!

To be more specific :P

Sorry about that, updated sig to reflect the proper name and URL :P

Ok Iv'e had a good chance to mess around around with the new Menu and I have to say I wont be going back to the old GUI again :)
From what I can tell:
XMB works (obviously) lol
Cheats work
ScreenShots work
Thumbnails work
Content Scanning works (I think, I already had my playlists set.) :)

There are a few issues tho.. (tiny issues) ;)
The glui Menu doesn't display correctly (not really a big issue for me since I plan on using The XMB menu for life) lol
Cant find how to get Overlays to work (probably just not added yet)
Loading a few GBA games one after another seems to cause a DSI Error
There's a weird effect when scrolling left to right in the XMB Menu (scrolling up and down is fine)
I cant change the Colour of the Menu Theme in the XMB Menu Settings (stays the Default Red Colour)

Apart from that I'm REALLY happy with the way Retroarch runs on the WiiU now. Plus it would be nice to have a few missing Cores added to the list too ;)
.

Have you filed a bug report on GitHub regarding the DSI error code? Version 1.4.1 doesn't crash after loading ROMs in succession, but then again, it's a nightly build, so I suppose that it will be somewhat unstable until the final release :P Still I'd file a bug report.

Edit: Upon reading the OP, nightly builds need to be tested thoroughly, so yeah, I can test them out later, what build are you using? :D

Aside from running PSX games :v
and ps2 and psp(hacked) games xD.

ps3 native backwards compat and semihacked one is amazing kinda like wiiu plays wii,gc stil the ps3 plays ps1 and wiiu still doesnt have a near full compat n64 emulator sadly.

I knew as soon as we got XMB, people would be begging for PSX again. If they ever get PSX, it will then be N64. Thank you everyone who put in the hard work to get XMB support into Wii U, it's now everything I ever wanted it to be.

What are you talking about?
The PSX bounty was done weeks before the XMB nightly, which just got released yesterday btw.
Get yo facts straight kiddo.

Let me rephrase - I'm aware of the bounty. I knew the praise for the XMB support would be shortlived, unfortunately. Just letting the devs know things other than PSX support are appreciated.

Oh don't get me wrong.
XMB support is greatly appreciated, finally the Wii U port of RetroArch can truly shine in all its glory unlike the limited Wii one.
I haven't set it up yet, but I can be sure I'll enjoy the heck out of it without a doubt once I try it out later today xD

XMB was pretty big on the wishlist that people as well. The more people know about the bounty, the better. :P

I put the assets folder into the media one but the xmb gui wont appear and the driver option doesnt let me choose it (only rgui). Any idea why?
