Many are waiting for the aroma. I would probably be OK switching full time to aroma if retroarch worked on it, as it keeps "need" for injects filling up my 300/300 limit lower.

I'm waiting for the Aroma port too before I finally put away Tiramisu :P
There is a WIP Menu replacement HB too that doesn't have the 300 limit but its really early and doesn't work very well.

Any idea why using the fast-forward feature on Gambatte would be causing a spam of "Wii U Pro Controller Disconnected from Port 2" "Wii U Pro Controller Configured in Port 2" messages? It doesn't always do it, but it happens more often than not. It doesn't even feel like my controller is disconnecting at all, though I've noticed the fast forward icon in the top right flickers when it happens. I wonder if using Retroarch's own Fast-forward hotkey would make any difference instead of Gambatte's, though I can't seem to set any hotkeys on my Pro Controller, probably because I have it set to control everything from port 2 and switching it to port 1 and the Gamepad to port 2 softlocks me and forces me to turn the console off.

Hello All, Short question - is there anything new/updated/corrected in 1.15 for WIIU? Is it worth installing; I am using 1.14? Thanks, m.

ScummVM Core has been updated, should perform better on WiiU!
In my tests Kings Quest 7 is now fullspeed!!!

Give it a try :) It should be on the Online Updater by now but if not..

Here :)

Yes Scumms has been improved....But seems Amstrad emulation has been downgraded, it's slower than before, I might be wrong but I don't think so

Well I finally got myself a second hand WiiU Pro Controller :) thought I was getting a good deal, but turns out I bought a dirty fake :/ I didn't know there were fake Pro controllers with the WiiU logo..
Heh I should have done more research first.
TBF the Controller and buttons feels ok but man the analog sticks on the fake controllers are garbage. I took the time to swap out the left analog with a replacement xbox one analog and so far it feels SOO much better, it barely fit though so I'm a little iffy on doing the right one.
But yeah, fakes with the WiiU logo damn :P

@mrmagicm I'd suggest making an issue on the Cores Github if it really is slower than before, it's the only way it will get fixed :)

When did you last update the core? according to the github page the core hasn't been updated since dec 28 2022.
Do you know when the core started to become slow?

Be nice if retroarch started to fully support Aroma and hopefully maybe we can get flycast core ported im sure Wii U should be capable i mean Nulldc was running on Wii withfootage but the project was scrapped

No, Kings Quest 7 is totally fine here, no audio crackle at all

Ploggy or someone, can someone tell me how to make X6000 games work on wiiU? I've made games work on retroarch android via X68000 that is present on android, but the X68000 core doesn't seems to exist on Retroarch wiiU, can the mame2003 (or other) make X68000 game work please?

yea, there is no px68k core for WiiU.. i think i tried to compile it before but showed errors i didnt know how to fix.

I´m having some problems with FBA Neo/FBA Alpha. When trying to load Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike on FBA Alpha i only get a black screen for a few seconds and goes back to the menu saying that the content failed to load. I´ve tried with 3 different roms, even with the ones i sue for RetroArch on PC or even Fightcade, and it just says the same thing. IWhen i tried with FBA Neo it seemed to load a bit further, but i just got a black screen instead of going to the RetroArch menu, so basically it froze. Is there anything im doing wrong here?

linkchidori, well it's easy.....Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike is compatible with FBneo/FBA on pc, but doesn't work on wiiU because it's beyond the wiiu limit on the machine, didn't you notice this rom was much bigger than others?

=> The Wii U has 2GB of RAM (Random Access Memory). However, it should be noted that the system's RAM is divided into two separate pools: 1GB of RAM is allocated to the system's operating system and applications, while the remaining 1GB is dedicated to game software, that mean SF3 need more than 1GB and that mean that only 1GB of memory is necessary for almost all games, Even on a pc with 8GB, almost no program uses all that ram, if the game is reduced, it might work ... when speaking of the .32GB memory, it is the internal memory if you have the deluxe version, which is not the ram, of course.

it must have stayed in the pack because it should be compatible on all retroarchs version of machines (newest phones, newest tablet) etc etc

nah, sf3 3rd strike works without problems for me on fbneo

you need to convert the game to be compatible with the arcade core you are using. a mame rom won´t work on fbneo or fba.

Anyone else having major issues getting latest build working you are not able to launch many cores or retroarch. I am getting a BLACK Screen constantly. I have had better luck with downloading to earlier builds like 1.9.8 apparently you have to rename a smaller core to retroarch.rpx to even get it to boot from the homebrew launcher.

I have also tried using the forwarder without much success as well
