Im installing Retroarch on my Wii, got it working on Android before so shouldnt be too hard.

What I am looking for is an emulator on the Wii that can handle system link GB/GBC/GBA games (any system) for multiplayer on the same screen, can anything on the wii do that yet?
Not yet.

Do other people still experience the button sticking bug in SNES9x Next? I posted about it on the Github but can't seem to register on their forums so that isn't really an option. Really hoping to get that fixed, for me that's the only issue I can find with running SNES games on Wii Retroarch.

I only seem to get stickiness with the Classic Controller, while with the GC one I don't remember it happening (maybe just luck?).

Yeah, it's kind of annoying, but I thought it was already reported (Nothing wrong with doing it again, mind you).

I'll see where the Github report goes then, as I couldn't find it reported anywhere, and other people also mentioned it in another thread around here.
If someone with a forum account could mention it in this thread I'd be greatly appreciative, as I think they check that more frequently.

Works fine for me but remember to delete your cfg/configuration settings before using the new version of retroarch.
I cleared out my entire retroarch folder in apps and put the latest nightly build in there. Booted it up and I got stuck on the retroarch main menu screen but could not control anything. I just had my Wii controller at the time. I plugged my GameCube controller in and that did not work either. Had to power cycle the Wii.

Been awhile since I used retroarch. What am I missing? Controller profiles of some sort?

My fault, i meant delete the config files in the retroarch folder that is on the root of your sd card not the one inside of the apps folder.

It's an issue with latest retroarch 1.3, I found the last committed change where it started to behave like this, no input at all.

Yes, I could do nothing at all.. Well guess I will go back to 1.0.0.2 for the time being...

At least I will delete the right config files next time. That is why you have backups:)

Hi guys, quick question...
I have seen in the options there are settings for specifying a boxarts path and screenshots paths... what exactly are these paths for? I don't see any previews or boxarts whenever I am selecting a rom so is this something that is not implemented yet?

Hi cebolleto. From what I understand a full gui will not be possible in retroarch on the Wii. Some info on box art can be found here: http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3350

What version of retroarch are you using?

Yes, I saw that link but nothing that is says work for me so I guess they are talking about the PC version with the new UI

I am currently using retroarch 1.3. If they are not planning to add this I might take a look if people are interested. Now that 7z is supported (althought not as good as in GX emus) this is becoming my favourite emu :)

Are you using the latest nightly build? I tried the 12-8 build and there were issues for me, all controllers were unresponsive.

Also, thanks for the cover support in the other emulators. They are my go to versions. If retroarch could support that I would be moving to retroarch.

I think the build I have is from 2015/12/03 it works perfectly
Hmm. I will have to go back a few nightlies and try that. I understand that I need to delete the config files from my current 1.0.0.2 install and overwrite using the new nightly.
