dang, pilot wings is still having those weird shadows.
i read online that with glide, the shadow issue was fixed on pc emulators, so I had hoped. maybe later.

anyways, performance is really nice though, even kirby isn't crashing anymore when entering gameplay. though it feels like its dropping every other frame, even when it shouldn't have any reason to.

Yo i actually fixed that last night on my stream but it is still slow! Will post settings later

Tested Mystical Ninja 64 and sadly it still has heavy slowdowns, but hey... It's getting better.
Tested Conker's Bad Fur Day 4 player multiplayer and while it still has some issues (2nd player camera) it's working pretty nice!

My own tests with Settlers 2 Gold, Z (Bitmap Bros.), Heaven & Earth, and Bolo (Dongleware).

Failed to fetch tweet https://twitter.com/rsn8887/status/1108852908773261315

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I also tried Per.Oxyd and Bio Menace:

Tonight I will hopefully get to try Ultima 7, Ultima 8, Incredible Machine 1 and 2. I had those in my GOG library, and GOG also uses dosbox for those.

Did you play alien Carnage? Great game, now freeware.
It worked veeery laggy on switch retroarch dos a month ago of course.

I tried update retroarch today but on every version i tryed when i open a new game and the content_history.lpl was saved with a new content the file double in size and become bug.
The only way i can read is using the option "restart retroarch", but if i close and open, its open buged again.
Its horrible becouse i don use playlist only the recent tab, anyone knows how to fix it for the newest versions?

Have you tried deleting "content_history.lpl" and seeing if it continues to happen?

yeah i tried rename to old and he create a new one, but same bug occurr again after i play 1 game that goes to the list.
I got a 01/jan release and the list was ok, but since i update to 6.2 fba before 1.7.6 bug in some games like shinobe.
On some point between this date 01/01 and 31/01 they change the list style and im having that bug.

How about deleting the old one and NOT creating a new one? Just let RA create one by itself.

If that doesn't work then have you tried using the latest nightly? I'm on the one from today 3/21/2019 and it's working fine for me.

Hello everyone! I'm a bit of an amateur so I hope someone could help me out.

I'm having some trouble getting the GBA emulator to use the save files I want. I'm trying to use a save file from the A Link to the Past/Four Swords gba game that has Four Swords completed so that I can play the extra dungeon in A Link to the Past.

I put the save file in /retroarch/cores/savefiles. It is named identically to the rom (zelda.gba and zelda.sav). The save is in the .sav format. It won't read it. If I start the game the save files are blank and when I quit I see that the .sav file is still there and a .srm file is create. I tried renaming the .sav to .srm (so it's zelda.gba and zelda.srm) and that won't work either. Starting up the game seems to overwrite my zelda.srm file with a smaller zelda.srm file that has no progress, all save files are empty.

Retroarch has been wonderful and I've had no other problems with it. I just really want to play that extra dungeon that I missed out on growing up because I didn't have anyone to play multiplayer with. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? If no one can figure it out, does anyone happen to know a cheat I could use to get into the dungeon?

I wonder if Wine will ever come to the Switch. I was thinking earlier it would be awesome if Dosbox could run Battlefield 1942. But that needed Windows XP which was the NT kernel.
