Retroarch on Wii 4.1e Help Required

Hello i have a wii on 4.1e and was hoping to put retroarch on it to play mame roms.
I tried but with no success.
Can anyone please help with some guidance.
Was also hoping to put a forwarder so i can click on main wii screen and go directly to Retroarch to play my mame roms.

About the thing you want to do with Forwarder, I'm totally lost because I personally don't use any (Acktchualy I haven't seen my Home Menu in years )

But I think you can do that with RetroArch Hexaeco.

Also: Don't know anything about that version because I'm a dumb simple man that prefers things to work instead of making them look pretty.
Don't mind me, just justifying my ignorance.
