Retroach on PS5?

My PS5 is on 11.00 currently and im sending it off on Monday to have the blu-ray exploit unpatched. What are the Pros and Cons of updating to 12.00 for better game compatibility?

Is it possible to perform retroach on jailbroken PS5?
in the same way as the Xbox series S/X with PS2 emulation, Game Cube in 4k 60 FPS?
