Homebrew Retail Cart Saves

hello. I'm having a problem with retail cart saves, mostly older carts. for example, I backed up my oot and super mario 3d land saves with gateway, but they're not usable. I get an error when loading the saves with my backed up carts resulting in the saves being corrupted. is there a way around this?

I'm pretty sure gateway does the saves funny or something like that. Jk's is amazing but can't pull saves from gateway. But it will pull them from carts and let you inject it to cias

thanks for the info. can I inject them with retail carts again? I already have the 3dz files ready for that.

Ya you can extract and re inject the save on both retail carts and cias.
