Hacking Restore vWii to normal

Is there a way to restore the vWii to normal after installing the home-brew channel and all that?
Yes I searched google and the forums but didn't find a good answer or guide.

Can you not restore the original IOS's from your old backup, and then just delete the HBC?

You can. There is still evidence you tampered with vWii though. I'm not a programmer or anything, I just know that there was a thread like this a while back, and the answer was absolutely no.
