Hacking Restore user profile from stooged's backup tool

I have made backups of my user profile using stooged's backup tool that is hosted on the Al Azif server. Unfortunately I made a mistake and deleted my user profile.

Is there any way to restore a user profile from such a backup or to make the saves working with a new user profile?

I tried messing with the file system already, but the PS4 keeps overwriting my changes...
