Hacking Restore banned switch?

First of all, I am NOT trying to get unbanned, I know that ship has sailed
Though... I’ve bought a banned switch, and now I want it restored, I want the users on it removed and just...yeah, remove everything and start over with SX OS.

Can this be done somehow? Internet seems to be required for all these things? The switch is “super banned” so it stops me from pretty much everything.

Also, when I’ve installed sx os, will I be able to use the internet in that, for homebrew downloads etc?

I update my sxos on a banned switch all the time so I’d say yes to the last question

Ooooooh I feel so amazingly stupid! It was just a matter of reading the error message about a needed internet connection and tap “continue anyway” or something... Thank you!
