Gaming Resident Evil Portable?

Sorry to start a whole thread about this but hey.
Has 'Resident Evil Portable' been cancelled or shelved?
I'd almost forgotten about it completely... I'll be so pissed if it has.

No official announcements have been made... It's just... vaporware, it seems.
Since the PSP is nearing the end of its lifetime I wouldn't bet on it being released on PSP, if EVER released.

That could explain why they didn't say anything. To keep the surprise factor and reveal it on a press event.

I dunno, just wishful thinking.

I think Portable became Revelations and that its no longer being developed for psp.
Thats just what I think however, no source or anything.
