I would of thought it only possible via editing the source and repacking it...

exactly, need to modify and replace the return function with either restart or auto chain function, and re compile the source....
...yea...that did really help(sorry if that sounds mean:P)

I compiled a version of Eject DVD that returns to system menu instead of HBC (hence the code dump.

I'll upload it if you like

I wonder, would it be better if it shuts down after eject? I'll see if i can compile that too (should be easy lol, i never compiled any wii code before now but it's only cut and pasting one line)

EDIT: ok maybe it's more than one line lol... but im working on it, im just a beginner

EDIT: here is the first one. Blank WAD included aswell (thats how i like it) http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4240

Thanks!

Sorry I've been offline a few days, but that is awesome. Returning to the system menu is perfect, no need for the shut down.
I did do a bit of research on trying to fix the dol since it had the code dump, but you made it much easier thx again!

So guys I managed to create a channel, I just had to reinstall WADder and use safe mode again and it worked.
So I have the channel it looks great although it code dumps. I'm a huge Doom fan so that is what I want to make. I'm assuming the code dump is because the channel lacks dol forwarder? I'm just not sure.

Hopefully you guys know why it code dumps. Anyway if one of you guys wants to create a Doom channel that's cool with me.

Wondering if OSW or someone could modify an app like "shut" to have more options like : shut down, standby, eject, eject with power off, etc?

also a nicer image for the eject icon?

maybe something like:

spacejump is in hospital now, but he could code up a forwarder for them 3, up to eject, left standby, right total power off...request in forwarders thread in apps section

Those images are cool, although cant you just turn the Wii off with the wiimote?

yeah but shut fully powers it off, restarts it or puts it into standby.

pretty cool app.

...if only someone could add an eject to it...

I cant put both dols into one channel but I'm making a new version of the Eject channel right now.

I thought that was the difference, that would actually be beneficial for me as well. I have a wii stand that lights up and has a fan built in so it will shut off when the wii is fully powered off, otherwise it will blow air and dust into the wii all night.

Give me like a half hour I should have one channel done.

I'm having probs with WADder on my laptop so I have to try it on another PC....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I finished Eject DVD, I added some audio that I chopped up and put back together.

I just tested it and for some reason the icon you wanted did not go into the wad...? (I will make another)
The sound loops even though I didn't want it to but here it is. It works fine and returns to the wii system menu! great stuff.

Media fire is effed up or something so I used File Factory. Eject DVD.rar
