Hey,

So what i'm looking for is a hombrew (.3dsx, compatible with themehax).
What it should do is, when you load it, it brings up the 'select a title' menu that the HBl has.
Then, when you have selected the title, the homebrew loads... that game. Simple.

It seems simple, but from a developer's viewpoint, it might be hard.

Thanks for reading, if anyone's interested, please reply to this thread :)

PS: Don't ask why I need this, it's a bit strange. (Actually, you can ask if you want :P)

Hmmm I think something similar might be doable in lua. but it wants a Unique Title ID and i have no clue how to get that.

SunShell has a list of the CIAs installed on the system and you can launch them IIRC, though their titles/icons are not displayed, only their IDs.

The needed code is all in the homebrew laucnher source, I wanted to make a title launcher, I just didn't get the time to yet, so probably someone does it before me.

EDIT: see? https://gbatemp.net/threads/hbhm-the-homebrew-home-menu.397970/page-5#post-5695467

Well, this needs to manually set the title though.

I think making a HBL mod that instead of listing homebrew lists titles and allows to boot them is the way to go, with icon and description and all.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
