you only joined on monday, if you can't handle this then you need to toughen up ;)

- why can't you just do it as a NES vc inject? not possible? or some other thing?
Yep, I'm from RVLution where everyone is over 14 at least(or they are as mature as an average 14 year old).

You're right, we should be expected to do this for you even though there are plenty of other options already available.
Why not nes vc inject like cearp suggested?

The issue with NES VC Injection is that, while it does boot up instantly and runs well, OP would have to constantly re-inject his hack into the Virtual Console assuming he tests regularly after every save, which might be tedious. Not a bad idea, but there are some drawbacks to it...

...Unless I'm misunderstanding and VC injection is a lot easier.

As @Meorge said though on Page 1, the best solution might be to just use Retroarch which apparently has an instant boot up option.

the answer is that most of us in this thread, i guess, don't have the compilers all set up to do this for you.
so, for us to help you, it would be better for YOU to learn and do it yourself, instead of us doing the learning for you.
the people who do have it all set up, most likely don't have the time and are busy with their own projects, or are not even wasting time posting here :)

you didn't answer, why not vc inject?

You litterally just need to search ' nes vc injection 3ds ' on google, the first thing that pops up is WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR.

sure i didn't think about that, if that is his reason. i have never used hans but can't it do something like this, and make that less tedious to replace the rom each time?

You can do actual replacing of the rom in nes vc .cias though, for cfw.

HANS can have xml shortcuts that will automatically load the romfs file and boot the VC with the injected rom so that would be nearly the same thing.

There's no reason to compile that feature into an emulator when retroarch already has autobooting as previously explained in this thread.

Fuck it, im done.

If you guys are just being dicks not giving a little tutorial and just expecting me to fucking know what to do.

Then fuck all you guys. I guess i will never have a homebrew project ever.

I'm not hugely getting my hopes up for something you make when you can't figure out rom launching, no.

And if you can't figure out something basic, I don't see any way a SMB1 romhack could possibly come out in an interesting manner.

surely with hax you don't need a legit one. use hbloader or whatever that cia hb loader is called in your emunand
I love how you assume i have a 3DS thats not 10.3 and you dont even ask...

My 3DS is 10.3 and no i will not downgrade because im not gonna take a risk in bricking my console.

Actually, 10.3 now allows you to install .cias. There's a thread related to this here. I'll go ahead and grab the link in a second. EDIT: Here we are.

As for the autobooting feature, I'm still attempting to look for it.

That's probably for the best. No snark intended, but you haven't demonstrated the best reading comprehension thus far, so I wouldn't put it past you to overlook something.
You should just use retroarch to autoboot with your current situation.

Those are legit cias
