Homebrew Request: CIA Simple 3DS Converter

Hello,
i've an old 3ds with gateway card, and a 6 years old son.

Always find .CIA release all around; is there any way to convert .CIA to .3DS format ?

Get FBI.3ds (https://github.com/steveice10/fbi/releases) and put it on your Gateway card, you can then install cia files.

but i forgot to say that i use virtual nand. My son learn this 'easy' way.
I know that install CIA is possibile, but want to keep him away from real NAND

Is not any way to convert back to .3ds format ?

Check out this tool:

It's not a super simple process, bit what you have to do is extract the .cia and rebuild it as a .3ds.
